Ceramic amphora – (created based on ancient archaeological finds) with holy water from the Jordan River. The amphora depicts a relief of the Church of the Annunciation of Nazareth Israel. The amphora is made by hand according to individual sketches. We used special high-temperature paints (glazes, pigments, salts, oxides).
The amphora is sealed with cork and filled with wax. Since ancient times, it was believed that the water of the Jordan has a rejuvenating and healing power, brings health and abundance. The pilgrims sought not only to take a bath, but also to take away with them a little Holy Water – as a sacredly kept rarity, along with the Holy Fire from the Temple of the Lord, descending on the feast of Easter, and the Holy Land from Jerusalem. This tradition continues today. We offer you to become the owner of such a relic, revered throughout the Christian world.
You can not drink water from an amphora!
